Get Your Career Started was founded by Lori Seibert in 2008. Lori's daughter had graduated from college and needed to get a job. She had already figured out that her degree in graphic design was not the field where she wanted to work. So Lori assisted her with her search and she secured a position where she is still working for 3 years and counting!

There are career centers which are helpful to varying degrees, but students don't always have the time or inclination to use their services.
